The Reinicke (ÖbVI) engineering office in Lichtenau-Atteln does land and engineering surveys for private builders, land-owners, architects, builders and government authorities.
The work with the property register and construction engineering has been supported since 2004 by two colibri robust notebooks. The Reinicke users are very pleased with the colibri features: "The outstanding display quality and the robust design of the colibri are very important for us; they make our daily work easier and more productive", says surveyor Jörg Majcher.
During site surveys the servo-supported tachymeter is controlled directly through cables from the colibri (automatic target actuation). The measured values are transferred to the survey program. In addition handwritten notes are recorded in the Windows journal. The results of the on-site work are sent to the office network server over a WLAN connection from the colibri.
