Integrated wireless data transmission is one of the absolute highlights of the rugged tablet PCs by Mettenmeier! Why? Because wireless modem integration in the colibri X7 protect and in the ARMOR X10gx was a special user demand, particularly in view of the introduction of new cadastral standard. We successfully developed this solution in cooperation with Leica, Topcon and Trimble. Finally it is possible for a single person to perform an object-oriented survey without the need for additional, separate wireless modems, and to do it over distances up to 1,000 metres.
At the same time, the measurements made using our Tablet PC protect can be visualised and examined directly on-site. This results in a considerable increase in efficiency for a simultaneous reduction in costs, because jobs can be completely displayed and processed on-site.
